Adam Chicksen has joined League Two Leyton Orient for a month, the third loan spell of his Albion career.

The 24-year-old left-back has not made a first team appearance for the Seagulls since Chris Hughton's first game in charge in January.

Hughton said: "Adam is a very professional and determined player and he needs to be playing.

"He takes extremely good care of himself, has a terrific attitude and approach and he wants to play first-team football so this loan move will provide him with that chance.

"This will not only be of benefit to him and Leyton Orient but also to us as a club as it means we have another player out on loan gaining valuable, competitive first team experience.

"It now means we have Glen Rea (Southend), Jake Forster-Caskey (MK Dons) and Adam out on loan, learning and growing as players, which is good for their future and that of the club."

Chicksen has been limited to 12 appearances for Albion since signing from MK Dons in July 2013.

He had loan spells with Gillingham and Fleetwood Town last year and is going back to Leyton Orient, where he had a one-month stint from MK Dons in January 2012.

He will link up on the left flank with ex-Seagull Dean Cox.
