Bobby Zamora will hope to complete an Albion hat-trick today – almost 15 years in the making.

The vastly experienced striker will aim to score for the club at home to Cardiff City for the third time, and in the third different division.

Zamora had a knack of finding the target against the Bluebirds in his first stint with Albion.

He raced away for the only goal in a fourth-tier contest at Withdean in 2000-01, beating former Seagulls keeper Mark Walton.

The following season, at the end of January, he converted a penalty for another 1-0 win at the athletics stadium.

Zamora also scored in a 1-1 draw at Ninian Park in 2001-02.
