Crawley Town have parted company with Darryl Flahavan – leaving them with just one goalkeeper on the books.

Former Portsmouth and Bournemouth stopper Flahavan joined Crawley in October on a short-term deal until January.

He had been offered fresh terms but had yet to sign and yesterday manager Mark Yates withdrew the offer of a new contract having lined up a replacement to come in on loan.

However, that deal deal has now fallen through – although it could be revived – leaving Callum Preston as the only goalkeeper currently available to Yates.

Flahavan made 14 appearances for the Reds.
