Albion have handed Jiri Skalak his first start in English football as they make three personnel changes.

But Chris Hughton looks set to go with the same tactical set-up at Cardiff City as that which drew 0-0 at Hull City in midweek.

Skalak replaces Jamie Murphy on the left flank while Andrew Crofts comes in for Beram Kayal, who has been troubled by a groin niggle of late and is on the bench.

Bobby Zamora returns to attack as lone frontman in pace of Tomer Hemed.

Connor Goldson and Lewis Dunk continue their central defensive partnership, despite Gordon Greer’s return to the 18.

Cardiff make one personnel change to the side which drew 0-0 at Charlton last week as Dutch striker Lex Immers replaces the suspended Sammy Ameobi.

That is also likely to mean a positional switch in their 4-4-2 set-up with Anthony Pilkington expected to move from centre-forward to the right flank.

Former Albion favourite Craig Noone is out injured.
