Lewes boss Darren Freeman has captured his first two new signings of the summer.

The Rooks have brought in former Peacehaven player Jamie Brotherton from Three Bridges.

Another ex-Magpie, Josh Jones, has also committed himself to Lewes for next season.

Jones, who had a successful spell at Whitehawk under Freeman, signed for the Rooks during the 2015-16 campaign but never played due to work commitments.

Both players began with professional clubs, Brotherton at Crystal Palace and Jones at Albion.

Lewes have already retained Chris Winterton, Steve Brinkhurst, Alex Laing, James Hammond and Ronnie Conlon from the existing squad.

Talks with other players and further signings are continuing.
