Albion are set for another financial boost if Leo Ulloa leaves Premier League champions Leicester City.
Their former Argentinian star is being linked with a £10 million plus move to Swansea.
Albion sold Ulloa to Leicester two years ago for an initial £8 million.
The deal included several additional clauses and a sell-on arrangement is routine in such circumstances.
Albion have already profited from Leicester staying up in Ulloa’s first season in the East Midlands.
One of the clauses incorporated a substantial bonus for helping the Foxes to survive.
The deal, unsurprisingly, did not cater for Leicester’s shock title triumph last season.
Although Ulloa featured regularly in Claudio Ranieri’s squad he started only seven Premier League games.
Leicester’s £16 million signing of Ahmed Musa will make it more difficult for Ulloa to get game time this season, so a switch to South Wales with the prospect of regular football could tempt the 29-year-old.
