Anthony Knockaert has labelled the rest of February “massive” in Albion’s push for the Premier League.
They have five more games this month, four of them at home, launched by Burton’s visit today and Ipswich on Tuesday.
Second-placed Seagulls go to Barnsley next Saturday before clashes with Reading and Newcastle, the sides immediately below and above them in the table.
Winger Knockaert said: “It’s massive now, it’s the period where we have to be focused and we need to win games. We have four games at home now out of five. If we win all four we will be in a great position, of course, but we still need to win them.”
Albion are on a five-match winning streak at the Amex in the league. They top the home-only table with 11 victories two draws and one defeat, against Brentford in September.
Boss Chris Hughton said: “In any season, at any club, your home form is always going to be important. We have a good record at home and with how competitive this league is – especially at the top – we need to take advantage.”
