Chris Hughton hailed a professional display from his side as Albion moved to the brink of promotion.
The Seagulls can secure their Premier League ticket on Easter Monday after a 2-0 success at Wolves today.
Boss Hughton said: “I thought it was a really good professional performance away from home.
“We had to work very hard. These are a good side with a lot of energy.
“To have a clean sheet against them is a really good defensive display from the team.
“We got two goals and could have had more, certainly on the counter attack.
“It was that type of game - when we had to defend well, which we did, and that gave us the opportunities to go and win it.
