Albion fans were arriving early at the Amex today – on their way to beating a record.
Some were already in the approaches to the stadium as boss Chris Hughton arrived about three hours from kick-off.
He was met by well-wishers en route from the car park to the stadium itself – and the match which could crown Albion as champions.
Chief executive Paul Barber confirmed the attendance would be in excess of the 30,300 mark, making it a record at the Amex.
Only a win will do for Albion if they are to wrap up the title today.
Anything less and the race goes to the final day, when the Seagulls are at Aston Villa and Newcastle host Barnsley.
