Gaetan Bong is fit for Albion's Carabao Cup trip to Bournemouth tomorrow night.
But manager Chris Hughton has a central midfield crisis and shortage of striker options for the quick return to the Vitality Stadium.
Hughton will make wholesale changes to the team beaten 2-1 at Bournemouth in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Left-back Bong, injured in the second round win at home to Barnet, has recovered from a muscle strain.
Republic of Ireland under-23 midfielders Jayson Molumby, who impressed against Barnet, and Dessie Hutchinson are both in the squad with Beram Kayal and Steve Sidwell still sidelined.
The third round tie comes too soon for versatile on-loan Chelsea attacker Izzy Brown (hamstring).
Hughton is loathed to risk Glenn Murray from the start against his old club, as the centre-forward is feeling his way back from ankle trouble and Tomer Hemed is the only other out-and-out striker currently available to him.
