Bargain buy Pascal Gross looks to continue his extraordinary influence over Albion's Premier League fortunes at West Ham tonight.

The £3 million summer signing from German club Ingolstadt has played a part in all six of Albion's goals in their opening eight games.

He scored twice against West Brom and crossed for Tomer Hemed to head home in the same game.

Gross's cross was headed in by Solly March for Albion's only away goal to date at Bournemouth and his free-kick led to Hemed's winner against Newcastle.

The No.10 maintained the sequence with another assist for Anthony Knockaert's strike against Everton on Sunday.

Sky Sports pundit Danny Higginbotham said: "Not only can he score goals, he's very good at creating situations as well.

"The home form is going to be key for Brighton. They've only got one point away from home and it's going to be a difficult game for them at West Ham this evening but he's been a great signing.

"Chris Hughton has not tried to change too much. They've still got a similar spine to the team from last season and they are starting to adjust now to the Premier League."
