Albion nemesis Mike Dean has been revealed as the ref for Saturday's visit to Swansea.
The controversial appointment for the Premier League fixture will bring back painful memories for the Seagulls and Dale Stephens.
It will be the first time Dean has taken charge of an Albion match since the Championship promotion decider at Middlesbrough in May 2016.
Albion needed to win to go up at the expense of their hosts and Stephens had just equalised when he was sent-off for a challenge on Gaston Ramirez.
The hotly disputed red card decision by Dean in the 1-1 draw, which was enough for Boro to pip Albion to the Premier League, has never been forgotten by Seagulls supporters, so the Wirral official can expect a frosty reception in Wales.
