Uwe Huenemeier has praised the progress of Albion's under-23s.
The experienced German defender featured with Sam Baldock as an over-age player in last night's 5-1 win against West Brom at the Lancing training complex.
Huenemeier, 32, was one of the goalscorers and Simon Rusk's prospects are now on the verge of sealing one of four promotion play-off spots in Premier League division two.
Huenemeier tweeted afterwards: "Hugely impressed by the improvements of the U23 lads over the last two years. This result is down to a great attitude and a good bunch of lads!
"The club can be proud of such a good academy with a lot coming through the ranks!! Well done boys. Keep it going!!"
Huenemeier, out of contract in the summer, told The Argus in January his Albion future is up in the air.
