Chris Hughton has praised Anthony Knockaert for his best performance of the season.

Thr French winger was a bag of tricks, both on his flank and coming infield, during the 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Skipper Bruno felt it was his finest game of the seaosn so far and Hughton agreed.

The Seagulls boss said: “Anthony had a wonderful Championship season for us, and when you are an offensive player, a winger, it's going to be a lot tougher in this division.

“It's normal he hasn't reached the heights of last season consistently, but he has done in games.

“He's had some fabulous games. That topped it tonight.”
