BRUNO has told Anthony Knockaert to prepare for the best season of his career.
The Albion skipper expects great things of the winger in the Premier League next term.
Bruno was impressed by what he saw from his right-sided colleague in the final weeks of the 2017-18 campaign.
He expects that to be carried over into a second top-flight campaign.
Bruno wants colleagues to get a good rest – and then work harder than ever. He told The Argus: “I think everyone has been outstanding.
“I am really happy with how Anthony has finished the season.
“He has been really sharp and really good.
“I am expecting from him that next season will take that step forward in terms of performances.”
Knockaert shone after returning from his lowest point of an up-and-down campaign – the red card picked up against Everton.
He was bright off the bench at Crystal Palace and shone at home to Manchester United as well in the first half at champions City.
The French ace said: “It’s different class technically in the Premier League and there is the thing that we defend more so it is harder for me.
“Now I have one year’s experience in this league so it is going to be better.”
