Crawley will open their League Two season on the road.

Reds go to Cheltenham in their League Two opener on Saturday, August 4.

Home fans get a first sight of Harry Kewell’s team when they meet Stevenage at the Broadfield Stadium on August 11.

By that time, the venue could have a new name with Reds set to announce details of a major sponsorship deal early next month.

That match is followed by the midweek Carabao Cup first round tie at Bristol Rovers.

Reds’ first midweek game at home sees Swindon visit on Tuesday, August 21 with Bury at Broadfield the following Saturday.

Their Boxing Day fixture is at Cambridge United and they are at home to Colchester on New Year’s Day.

The visit of promoted Tranmere and their Sussex-born goalgetter James Norwood is the last game on the schedule, on May 4.

Crawley are away for each of the three Premier League international breaks before Christmas but host well-supported Lincoln Cty when the top clubs are inactive in March.

Reds are being quoted as 66/1 title outsiders and 14/1 for promotion by Sky Bet.

They are fourth favourites for the drop at 9/2, despite a much-improved mid-table finish last season.
