Albion goalkeeper Christian Walton is set for a season in the Championship after re-joining Wigan Athletic on loan.
The 22-year-old returns to the Latics on a contract that runs until June 30 next year with a recall option in January.
Walton helped Wigan to the League One title last year, making 35 appearances, as well playing in their famous FA Cup win over Manchester City.
Albion boss Chris Hughton said: “This loan move is one which benefits both clubs and the player.
“It allows Christian to return to a club he knows well and he will be able to gain regular game time in a very competitive Championship division.
“Christian played a huge part in helping Wigan to achieve promotion - an experience which will stand him in a good stead at an early stage in his career.
“Once Wigan confirmed their interest in re-signing Christian on loan again, we felt it was the most logical step for his continued development.”
