Albion striker Tomer Hemed has completed his season-long loan move to Queens Park Rangers.
The 31-year-old Israeli is expected to make his debut for the Championship's bottom club at Loftus Road on Saturday against on-loan club colleague Christian Walton, who will be in goal for Wigan.
Albion manager Chris Hughton said: "We brought in Florin Andone in the summer. Locadia is pushing to play, Glenn (Murray) has played in the first two games.
"It was difficult for Tomer last year. He's somebody that had been used to playing more games.
"It was difficult for him last season because he didn't get the amount of time he would have liked.
"It just gives him an opportunity to play games and play regularly. From where we are with the three we have at the moment we felt we could let him go."
Hemed, under contract until next summer, has scored 33 goals in 108 games for the Seagulls since arriving from Spanish club Almeria for a six-figure fee three years ago.
