Managerless Crawley Town have asked two of their senior professionals to guide them through tomorrow’s game at Oldham.

Jimmy Smith and Filipe Morais will prepare the team for the League Two clash at Boundary Park after Harry Kewell and Warren Feeney left for Notts County.

But they might not be at the helm for long.

It is believed Reds could have a new man in charge some time next week.

In a statement released by Crawley this morning, director of football Selim Gaygusuz said: “Harry Kewell made it clear earlier this week that he wanted the opportunity to speak to Notts County which we granted. Matters concerning compensation for the remainder of his and Warren Feeney’s contract have now been concluded successfully.

“The search for a new manager is underway and we are looking to make an appointment as soon as possible.”
