Sussex have set Leicestershire a victory target of 451.
The hosts were bowled out today for 210 in their second innings on the third day of their Specsavers Championship match at Hove.
The Foxes negotiated six overs before lunch, reaching 17-0 at the break with skipper Paul Horton unbeaten on seven and Harry Dearden on five. The odd ball misbehaved but Leicestershire had the best batting conditions of the match as they began their chase.
Sussex’s last four wickets added 110 this morning, with Chris Jordan making 54, his second half-century of the match, before he was last out, losing his middle stump to Ben Mike. Jordan hit seven fours from 69 balls faced.
Mike, the 20-year-old seamer, also removed Jofra Archer, out hooking for 33 after adding 70 for the eighth wicket with Jordan, and Ollie Robinson (17) to finish with 5-37 and a match haul of 9-94 on his debut.
