Glenn Murray expects Shane Duffy to add to his goals tally after his “huge effort” at Southampton.

Duffy scored his second of the season and forced the penalty as the Seagulls came from behind to draw 2-2.

Murray believes there can be a lot more to come from the big Irishman.

To a suggestion that the centre-back caused chaos at set-pieces, Murray said: “I would if I was that big as well!

“He did fantastic. It was a brilliant header and that’s what we want more of.

“He is such a big dominant figure.

“He does it in our own box and I’m sure he can add to his couple of goals this year in the opposition box.

“Then obviously without being near the ball he is still a threat, just the pure size of him.

People are a little bit nervous and he got a penalty.”

Only Murray and Duffy have netted other than from the spot this season with two apiece.

Murray said: “We need all areas of the pitch to chip in with the goals.

“Duff-man has got a goal and penalty and it’s a huge effort from him.

“He really led the way in us getting back into the game.”
