Albion will be going for goal when they tackle Liverpool in top-tier action tomorrow.

But skipper Danni Buet knows what the main aim must be at the Broadfield Stadium.

The Seagulls are chasing a first point, or three, and a first goal in the elite after a pair of unlucky 1-0 defeats.

Buet has a history of scoring against the Reds with previous club Chelsea and would love to do it again in the televised clash (12.15pm).

She said: “We can create more. I think every team can.

“We weren’t going to be the perfect model straight away.

“We are a new team so we are still trying to build relationships with each other.

“It doesn’t happen overnight. Take Birmingham, who we played on Wednesday night.

“They have been playing for years and you can see their relationships that they have built.

“That will come but, more importantly, if you stop a team scoring, you can still win a game.

“That is what we have got to get to now, we have got to get that first clean sheet. That will be our aim this weekend.”

Albion were beaten by a freak long-ranger at home to Bristol City two weeks ago and then a disputed Birmingham penalty in midweek.

Boss Hope Powell said: “One of the things I focused on is that this season we have got to be really hard to beat.

“Our players will face players and teams who have had a long time at this level.

“I think the girls are very focused and doing everything we ask them to do and then trying to do a bit more.

“I think we are pretty hard to beat and the margins in games reflect that.

“We have got to keep doing that, understanding our roles better.

“It’s a lot of information. They are going from part-time demands to full-time demands.

“My demands are a lot and I think they are really working hard.”

Albion are running free coach travel to the game from various locations including the Amex (departs 10.30am).
