Beram Kayal came up with another match-winning assist as Israel ended their poor recent run at the expense of Scotland.
The Albion midfielder crossed to force the decisive own goal in a Nations League fixture.
Israel came from behind to win 2-1 in Haifa with Kayal a buzzing presence in midfield until being withdrawn on 82 minutes.
His contribution followed an impressive display last Friday when his cross set up Glenn Murray for the goal which saw the Seagulls beat West Ham 1-0 at the Amex.
Scotland were fortunate to lead through a soft penalty at the break, converted by Charlie Mulgrew.
Kayal had a chance to level but did not get hold of his right foot shot cleanly and allowed Allan McGregor to save diving low to his left.
A free-kick by Kayal was held by McGregor in the second period.
By that time, Dor Peretz had equalised (below) and John Souttar been sent off for the Scots.
Israel’s winning goal came on 75 minutes. Kayal whipped the ball in from the right and Kieran Tierney crashed his attempted clearance into his own net.
