Albion could run a special train service for the trip to Manchester United in the New Year - providing there is enough interest from fans.
They are asking supporters to respond to a survey on the club website before going ahead with the plan.
The train for the match at Old Trafford on January 19 (3pm) would leave Hove at around 7am.
It would make one stop at Haywards Heath before arriving at Manchester Piccadilly at approximately 12.30pm.
The estimated return time to Hove is 11pm.
No alcohol will be allowed on the service and the price is expected to be between £80 and £100.
Fans faced a gruelling journey in hazardous weather when Albion last visited Old Trafford for a Saturday evening kick-off in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in March.
