JURGEN Locadia could switch countries as he prepares for the possibility of only his second home Premier League start for Albion.

The striker has been in talks with Curacao after falling out of contention for Holland.

Curacao chief Remko Bicentini told FOX Sports: "He could play with me, yes, we have had contact with him several times. The last time was last month, he has indicated that he finds it difficult to make the choice.

"At Brighton he does not play enough matches, especially if you are going to act on a large platform."

Locadia has been called up to the Dutch squad three times without making an appearance.

His hopes of joining injured Albion team-mate Davy Propper in Ronald Koeman's plans have been hit by injuries and limited game time with the Seagulls.

Locadia has made four Premier League starts and ten sub appearances since joining Albion from PSV Eindhoven in January.

He could deputise for concussion doubt Glenn Murray against Wolves at the Amex on Saturday, although boss Chris Hughton also has the option of giving a debut to summer signing Florin Andone.

Locadia's only home start in the Premier League came in the defeat by Leicester in March.

Former Albion midfielder Kemy Agustien represented Curacao when Patrick Kluivert was manager.

Agustien was born on the tiny Caribbean island and helped them lift the Caribbean Cup for the first time.
