JURGEN Locadia could make his first Premier League home start of the season for Albion – against the club that nearly signed him.

The Dutchman is likely to lead the attack against Wolves at the Amex tomorrow if Glenn Murray is ruled out after he was knocked unconscious and swallowed his tongue at Newcastle.

Wanderers were on the brink of buying Locadia from PSV Eindhoven for around £10 million at the end of last summer's transfer window.

The deal collapsed, according to a well-placed PSV source, because the 24-year-old striker hesitated about playing in the Championship.

Locadia joined Albion for £14 million in the next transfer window. He has scored once in four starts and ten substitute appearances in the Premier League.

Albion's biggest crowd at the Amex could be eclipsed tomorrow following record resales.

Ticket resales have gone well past the previous high of 540 against Manchester United.

The record attendance at the Amex is 30,634 for Liverpool's 5-1 victory last December.

Later the same month 29,221 watched the 0-0 draw with Burnley.

All 14 Premier League home games since then have attracted gates of over 30,000.
