Beram Kayal reckoned Albion’s celebrations at the end of their tense win over Wolves showed just how much it meant to the players.

The midfielder produced another impressive display as Albion were forced to withstand late pressure from Wolves in a grandstand finish at the Amex.

A third clean sheet and third win was celebrated both in the stands and on the pitch as a record crowd roared the Seagulls over the line at the Amex.

Kayal said: “You see the reaction after the game – it meant a lot to us.

“This group of players put everything out there.

“I am delighted to be with players like that who fight and show the desire to win games.

“I’ve said it before, at this club we need to know how to win games to progress, and chapeau to the players.

“It was a big, big performance.

“It was not our best performance, but to get another three points, another clean sheet, means a lot to us.”

Glenn Murray got the winner and Kayal saluted the striker who notched up his 100th goal for Albion in the process.

Kayal said: "Respect, chapeau, legend - he's a massive player for us."
