Chris Hughton will be in seventh heaven if Albion get a result at Everton on Saturday.

It will be the next-best thing to taking a point or three away from home against one of the Big Six.

The Seagulls have lost all eight matches away to the Big Six in the Premier League.

Marco Silva's Everton, as far as Hughton is concerned, are snapping at their heels.

That would make a result at Goodison Park - where Albion have never won in six visits spanning 105 years - a bit special.

He told The Argus: "The Big Six are the Big Six and everyone would speak about them because they are the ones that, how ever far you want to go back in recent times, have qualified for the Champions League.

"All six of them have been there, so they do for me stand alone.

"Then it's the teams that are outside of that and I have always seen Everton as the seventh team, even though you have got Leicester who have been very good and we all know what they did a couple of seasons ago.

"But I've always seen Everton as the seventh team as such and at the moment I think they are developing a team and performances that, from their point of view, they would like to think will try to push them into that top six.

"For us to get a result there, we would see it as a big result."
