Shane Duffy has labelled his return to Everton a "bad day at the office" for Albion.
The Seagulls' three match and clean sheet winning streak came to an emphatic end against Duffy's old club with a 3-1 defeat at Goodison Park.
Richarlison (2) and Seamus Coleman's first goal for 22 months made it three wins out of four for Marco Silva's side after Lewis Dunk headed Albion level against the run of play in the first half.
Dunk's defensive partner Duffy admitted: "We knew coming here they were a good team and we had to keep it tight.
"They didn't have to work hard for their goals. They are good here. A couple of individual mistakes, which happens. It is a bad day at the office.
"We didn't play second half, they dominated the game and fully deserved it. They are going places."
