Shane Duffy has been joined in the Republic of Ireland squad announced today by Martin O'Neill by a couple of familiar faces.

Everton right-back Seamus Coleman is recalled after a foot injury and Duffy's Albion team-mate Richie Towell, on loan to Rotherham, is also retained in a provisional list for games against Northern Ireland and Denmark.

Coleman scored Everton's second goal (below) as Duffy's return to Goodison Park was marred by a 3-1 defeat for Albion on Saturday.

The Argus: Duffy will be hoping to make amends with the Seagulls at Cardiff on Saturday (12.30) before linking up with the Irish squad on Sunday for the friendly against Northern Ireland in Dublin four days later and the trip to Denmark in the UEFA Nations League on November 17.

The squad also includes Cardiff's fringe defender Greg Cunningham and on-loan Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter, who is banned for Albion's visit.
