Dale Stephens is sent off at Cardiff
Albion will NOT be appealing against Dale Stephens’ red card.
The midfielder was sent off for a foul on Greg Cunningham at Cardiff on Saturday.
He will serve a three-match ban straight after the current international break.
Albion felt the red shown by referee Martin Atkinson was harsh, especially in comparison to other decisions over the Premier League weekend.
But they have decided not to contest the decision.
Boss Chris Hughton said on Saturday some referees would have sent Stephens off while some would have taken a different view.
Stephens misses the visit of Leicester City, a trip to Huddersfield and the derby against Crystal Palace at the Amex.
He could return at Burnley on December 8.
