Gareth Southgate has confirmed there will be “some debuts” on the pitch for England tomorrow.

Albion defender Lewis Dunk hopes to earn his first cap when the national team take on USA in a friendly at Wembley.

England coach Southgate said today: “We’ve got players with high motivation. There will be some debuts.”

Southgate was asked whether the game is a chance to see new players, including Dunk, in action.

He replied: “It’s a big night for a lot of players and good opportunity for us to see some young players.

“We will have a lot of talent on the pitch. We maybe won't have so much experience so it's going to be a really good test for those players."

New caps will receive their England shirts from Wayne Rooney.

Southgate said: "I've asked him to talk about a couple of areas in particular that would be good for the boys to hear."
