Beram Kayal is pleased to have Albion playmaker Pascal Gross back for his first away start since the opening day of the season.

Gross returned from almost three months out with ankle trouble in the 1-1 home draw with Leicester.

The Seagulls visit Huddersfield on Saturday and Kayal is relieved about the influential German’s return.

Midfielder Kayal told The Argus: “Pascal is our number ten playing between the lines. I’m happy for him after a long time out.

“It’s great to see him back. He is training really well, looking sharp. There is nothing better than to get minutes in matches.

“He needs it, everyone knows that, the gaffer knows that as well.

“Pascal was one of the key players last season and one who is going to create chances for us, so we need him fit.”

Huddersfield have won two and drawn one of their last three matches to move off the bottom and out of the relegation zone.

Kayal said: “It’s going to be a tough game away from home. We know how hard a place it is, but every place in this league is really tough. Every game is a chance to get three points.”
