Shane Duffy has apologised for his red card against Crystal Palace.
The Republic of Ireland central defender took to Twitter to say sorry and express gratitude to his team-mates for winning without him.
Duffy was sent off in the 28th minute for thrusting his head at Patrick van Aanholt after referee Kevin Friend had turned down a second penalty appeal for the Seagulls.
Can only apologise to everyone tonight for letting use down. Grateful for the team we have here for a huge win tonight the boys were unbelievable! I’m disappointed in myself for even getting myself into the situation. What a win !! 🔵⚪️ @OfficialBHAFC
