Glenn Murray has hailed fellow striker Florin Andone as “a nuisance” to defenders as Albion check on their options for Burnley.

Andone could get the chance to add to his two goals in as many games when the Seagulls go to Turf Moor.

Albion should know more about Murray’s shoulder injury by today after he was forced out of the 3-1 derby win over Crystal Palace on Tuesday.

Andone went on as substitute and scored a wonder goal to add to his header at Huddersfield.

Murray said: “He has been very good. He has been given his opportunity at Huddersfield and he took that.

“Then (on Tuesday) he came on earlier than he thought he would and he scored again.

“He has been a nuisance. He has been good for us.”

Andone would love to be back in the thick of it against the Clarets.

He said: “It is very hard to play because Glenn is on fire and is scoring a lot of goals.

“But I think I deserve to play because I am working very hard. I waited for my opportunity.”
