Bruno believes Albion’s defeat at Burnley was not all gloom.
The Seagulls were beaten 1-0 at Turf Moor after Jack Cork’s shot was touched home by James Tarkowski.
They had chances to grab a point late on.
Skipper Bruno said: “It’s disappointing, especially the way we lost the game.
“I think we had really good possession all the game, we got to the last third a lot of times and we couldn’t create as many chances as we were thinking.
“Away from home it’s a really good performance but to concede a goal like we did, they didn’t create any more chances.
“We already knew playing here that sometimes it’s about those second balls.
“I thought we defended well. The team didn’t concede chances and we had a lot of possession, getting in the right areas, but we couldn’t score.
“In the last ten minutes I don’t know how many crosses we had – headers, people inside the box – at least to get a draw.
“We were unlucky today. We lost but there are a lot of positive things to take.”
