Albion Under-23s progressed in the Senior Cup third round tonight with a 4-0 win against Bostik South East high flying Hastings United.
The Pilot Field hosts almost took the lead in the ninth minute but an Antonio Walker-Barth shot was cleared off the line by Josh Kerr.
The young Seagulls side took a 25th-minute lead when Kerr popped up at the other end at a corner and his header was flicked in by Dan Cashman.
Cashman smashed a shot against a post before Albion added their second after 70 minutes when Stefan Ljubicic was played in. Ljubicic scored the third five minutes later from a Joe Tomlinson cross before Ryan Longman’s fierce 90th-minute strike wrapped up the victory.
