Dan Burn will hope for an FA Cup repeat as he joins up with Albion for the first time.

The defender is in contention to face Bournemouth in the third round today after leaving Wigan.

He will have good memories of the Cherries.

Burn scored the second goal in a third-round replay at the DW Stadium last season as Wigan beat Bournemouth 3-0, having drawn 1-1 at the Vitality Stadium.

He started the initial tie, in which Bournemouth had to come from 2-0 down against League One opponents.

Meanwhile debutant Albion goalkeeper Jason Steele could face a former colleague in Bournemouth striker Josh King.

The two were colleagues at Blackburn, along with current Seagulls defender Shane Duffy.

Steele was on the bench and Duffy played the day King scored an FA Cup hat-trick against Stoke City in 2014-15.
