Florin Andone has revealed he is relishing his battles in the land of the giants.

The Romanian striker raised in Spain scored on his FA Cup debut to wrap up Albion’s 3-1 win at Bournemouth.

Andone has impressed with his tenacious style against bigger defenders and his three goals include a pair of headers.

He told The Argus: “English football is different. It’s stronger, more competitive, the people are stronger.

“People are always fighting but it's football.

“I think I am strong but sometimes you play against centre-backs of 1.95m or 2m and it’s very hard.

“But I try to do all my best and I try to keep fighting all the minutes.

“This is my style, this my character.

“I always try to be 100%, 100%, 100%. Sometimes I don’t play very good but I get what I can.

“That’s football, to keep fighting, to keep working every day and, when you have the opportunity, you try to take advantage.”
