Viktor Gyokeres scored on his first start for Sweden.
The Albion forward brought his side level in a 2-2 friendly draw against Iceland in Qatar today.
Gyokeres played up front in a 4-4-2 formation in a below-strength Swedish side largely made up of players from their domestic league.
He netted with a crisp first-time right-foot shot after the ball was cut back to him from the byline.
The ball went in off the goalkeeper, who arguably should have done better.
Gyokeres joined up with the Swedish training camp after his brief appearance off the bench for Albion in last Saturday’s FA Cup win at Bournemouth.
He has impressed the national team management in training and during an outing off the bench against Finland earlier in the week.
The Swedish FA are recognising the relatively low-key games as full internationals.
