Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has riled Albion fans by claiming Manchester United "should dominate" them.

United host Albion at Old Trafford tomorrow after beating Spurs 1-0 at Wembley to stretch their winning run to six since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as manager.

The Norwegian said this morning: "Everyone said about Tottenham being the test, I don’t think that’s a test in attitude, the players are gonna be up for that game, I’m looking for a reaction in a home game against a team you should dominate and be better than."

Solskjaer's remark has angered Albion supporters on social media after Mourinho's United lost at the Amex in May and August and leaders Liverpool needed a Mo Salah penalty to edge past Chris Hughton's Seagulls.

Hughton has praised the way Solskjaer has transformed United.

He said: "I don’t think it could be anybody. As a manager you know how difficult any game is, whether you are manager at Man United or Man City.

"Jurgen Klopp spoke last week about how difficult winning at Brighton was. We know how tough every game can be.

"I don't think just anybody could have gone in and had the record he has now. I think you have to give him credit for that. In whatever way he has done that (and I don't know what way that is) he's got results.

"They haven't lost for six games and are on the back of a win at Tottenham who are a very, very good team. You have to give them a lot of praise for that."
