Paul Pogba believes Manchester United have learnt the lessons of defeat at the Amex.

The United midfielder was critical of his team’s attitude when they lost 3-2 to Albion early in the season.

Things have changed at Old Trafford in recent weeks with the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim boss.

Pogba’s very late spot kick at the Amex gave the final scoreline a misleadingly close look.

He has not forgotten how his side suffered that afternoon.

In an interview for BBCTV’s Football Focus, Pogba said: “The next game is always the hardest one.

“We will respect the team. We lost the previous game to them and we want to win at home. To win the game, to do things right.

“It was a lesson for us and I was putting myself first in saying that the attitude wasn’t good.

“We were maybe over-confident. This game, we are going to take it differently.

“Well, I hope we take it differently because we want to win and we want to go back to the top.

“You have to focus and concentrate on winning and obviously do better than the first game.

“We want to carry on. It’s the best feeling when you are winning games. For the manager as well, we want to win for him.”
