Pascal Gross praised Albion's character after scoring again against Man United to give them a scare at Old Trafford.
A Paul Pogba penalty and a fine Marcus Rashford effort left the Seagulls trailing by two goals away from home at half-time for the first time this season.
Gross, who scored a penalty in the 3-2 win against United at the Amex in August, calmly converted a Davy Propper cross after the break and United were hanging on at the end for their seventh successive win since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge.
Gross said: "It was good character in the second half being 2-0 down. The first half we had to defend better where we conceded. It's a bit unlucky that we weren't good enough in those situations. But second half we showed we are a good team and stick together.
"We have shown some good performances away from home so we should keep going and believe in ourselves."
