Alireza Jahanbakhsh is not heading back to Albion any time soon after he helped Iran into the last four of the Asian Cup today.
The Seagulls winger played 68 minutes in Iran's 3-0 victory over China
It was his third start of the tournament after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained at Everton almost three months ago.

Mehdi Taremi gave Iran an 18th-minute lead after good work by Sardar Azmoun to set him up.
The influential Azmoun made it 2-0 just after the half-hour but only after the use of the Video Assistant Referee.
The goal went to review to check for a foul in the build up before being given.
Karim Ansarifard made sure of Iran's victory with their third goal in stoppage time.
