Viktor Gyokeres was disappointed he could not be Albion's FA Cup supersub against West Brom.
The striker came on for the last 20 minutes and forced Baggies keeper Jon Bond into a crucial low save after he weaved past a tackle soon after his introduction.
The keeper got down well to push the ball round a post and Swede Gyokeres was left ruing what might have been as the tie finished goalless.
He said: "It felt good to come on and, of course, I wanted to win the game, especially as when I came on I felt there were a lot chances.
"I wanted to make something good of it. I felt we deserved the win but it is how it is so, hopefully, we can win the next game."
It was a lively cameo display but Gyokeres has set his standards high as he hopes for another crack at Darren Moore's side in the replay.
He added: "I was quite pleased (with how I played) but if we had won the game I would have been more pleased."
