Dan Burn has been urged to turn in a repeat performance in the FA Cup.

The giant centre-back makes his second appearance for Albion in tonight’s fourth-round replay at West Brom.

Burn spent the first half of the season with Wigan and earned man of the match honours on his Albion debut when they were held at home by the Baggies.

Albion boss Chris Hughton said: “I thought he did very well.

“I think what showed with Dan is he played in the first half of the season, has trained really well since he came with us, so from being up to speed he's had a lot of games under his belt and probably that showed.

“He has trained well and certainly deserves another go.”

Albion signed Burn from Wigan last summer but allowed him to stay on loan until January.

Hughton added: “It's one that has worked out really well and he has come in full of enthusiasm.

"Right through that period he had at Wigan in the first half of the season he knew he was coming here, so everything was geared to coming in here.

“He has trained really well. It's another good opportunity for him."

Burn partnered Shane Duffy in the first match but could form a new pairing with Leon Balogun tonight.

The winners host Derby in the fifth round a week on Saturday.
