How Albion's players rated in their 3-1 win at West Brom...
DAVID BUTTON 7
Pushed away two Rodriguez efforts in the first half, the second of them unconvincingly. Had a fairly quiet evening from then on until a late save from Rogers.
BRUNO 7
Welcome playing time for the skipper. Tidy at the back, thoughtful in possession and looked to get forward.
LEON BALOGUN 6
Close to a goal when his first-half header hit the bar after he soared at the back post. But what on earth was he thinking when Bartley scored?
DAN BURN 7
Commanding again. Was the Albion defender who best dealt with the troublesome Rodriguez and got in a goal-saving tackle on Hoolahan in the second half.
BERNARDO 7
A welcome return to action after five weeks out injured and looked comfortable, even when West Brom switched to wingbacks.
BERAM KAYAL 7
Handed the deep-lying midfield role and did a sound job, breaking things up and playing simple passes In front of the back four.
YVES BISSOUMA 7
Really busy in midfield. Almost caught out Bond with one of those bouncing long-range efforts which brought him his goal in the third round.
ALIREZA JAHANBAKHSH 7
His long-awaited return came in a midfield rather than wing role. Went close from outside the box in the first half and later tested Bond.
ANTHONY KNOCKAERT 7
More aware of those around him than is often the case. Played some nice passes including a clever little ball to slip in Andone for a good first-half chance.
FLORIN ANDONE 7
Should have scored, some claimed he should have seen red and had a goal ruled out. All in the first half. Then struck to force extra-time.
VIKTOR GYOKERES 7
Played on the left but was to the right of goal when he tested Bond with a shot. Confident – but just needed to be more precise with some set-up play
SUBS
Jurgen Locadia: Had a headed goal ruled out before doing so well to tee up Murray. 7
Davy Propper: Great work on the killer third goal.
Glenn Murray: Almost immediate impact as he showed a goal-getter’s instincts.
Gaetan Bong: Hostile reception when he replaced Bruno.
