Albion winger Jose Izquierdo has a new international manager.

And he can find out all about him from team-mate Alireza Jahanbakhsh.

Portugese Carlos Queiroz has been appointed as Colombia's new head coach.

Sir Alex Ferguson's former assistant at Manchester United had been in charge of Jahanbakhsh's Iran.

His reign ended with their recent exit from the semi-finals of the Asian Cup against Japan in the United Arab Emirates.

Queiroz succeeds Argentine Jose Pekerman, Izquierdo's manager at last summer's World Cup.

The Argus: Izquierdo (above) is on the comeback trail for Albion from a knee injury sustained at the World Cup and aggravated against Crystal Palace in December.

Jahanbakhsh made his first appearance since hamstring trouble and the Asian Cup in Wednesday's FA Cup replay victory at West Brom.

He is likely to be on the bench against Burnley tomorrow.
