Chris Hughton is in a quandary over his next FA Cup line-up.

Albion host Derby in the fifth round at the Amex next Saturday (12.30).

Hughton made multiple changes in the third round against Bournemouth and fourth round matches against West Brom.

The Seagulls have a ten-day break between the Derby tie and a trip to Leicester.

That increases the possibility of Hughton fielding more first team regulars against Frank Lampard’s Championship side after today’s key Premier League clash with Burnley (5.30).

Hughton said: “We’ll get the Burnley game out of the way and whatever we say about every game, it’s a big game, and we know we are playing opposition that are very close to us in the division.

“So yes, it is a game where the points that we get are also points that Burnley don’t get and of course, vice-versa. So it does have significance.

“But honestly, I don’t know what I’ll do in the cup game yet. It might depend on a result at the weekend, but probably in all honesty I don’t know.”

The tie at the Amex falls in a hectic period for Derby. They host Hull today, visit Ipswich on Wednesday and entertain Millwall the following Wednesday.

There can be no repeat of Albion’s saga with West Brom as fifth round replays have been abolished.

Five of the six clubs below or between Albion and Burnley in the bottom half of the table play before they face each other, including another key game on the south coast as Cardiff go to Southampton.

Newcastle are not in action until Monday night at Wolves.
