Albion striker Tomer Hemed is unlikely to be staying at QPR for good.

QPR's chief executive Lee Hoos has virtually ruled out the Israeli remaining at Loftus Road beyond his season-long loan move.

He told Football.London that Hemed and fellow temporary captures Nahki Wells (Burnley) and Geoff Cameron (Stoke) are all likely to return to their parent clubs.

Hoos said: "You never say never, but the likelihood is that they'll go back to their parent clubs.

"I'm sure their clubs will have their own ideas on what to do with those players as well, so we just have to see how that goes.

"One of the good things about doing a loan is that you're not committed. Instead of having a level of salary over three years, you only have it for one year and so you can manage it on a year by year basis."

Hemed recently returned to action after hernia surgery. He has scored 22 goals in 108 games for Albion since signing from Almeria in Spain.
